A Day Off....Maybe?

Yesterday, I had my first "official" day off. It was a school holiday, so I had a day off. When the kids are off of school, I get a day off as well. (That's one thing I like about working for a school district).

I took advantage of the day off by scheduling a doctor's appointment. Then I went over to see my friends at the place I used to work at and have lunch. The only problem was that I was running late from the doctor's appointment, so I didn't get to spend as much time as I would liked. I wanted to tell everyone that I am doing O.K. in my new job, but that I really missed them. I hope that they are doing O.K. as well. I'll continue to pray for everyone there.

After I left my former place of employment, I went to the Girl Scout council shop to do a few things. I had to return some leader packets left over from a training I did on Monday, pick up some forms, register my girls for a training session coming up, and buy some patches/badges for an upcoming bridging ceremony. I felt like I had accomplished something.

Then I went to go and buy some ink cartridges. No big deal, right? It is in my house. It takes me forever just to get a replacement ink cartridge either because I don't have the money or I don't have time to go by and get one. I found this place that does refills, and for a very good price, so I've been going there and have been satisfied in the quality of the ink cartridge. So, yeah. Ink cartridges are a big deal.

Today, I had an even fuller schedule. My daughter thinks that when she doesn't work, it's time to get momma out of the house and do lots of things. So, we had a list of things and places we wanted to do and buy, and I think we did/bought about 3/4 of the list today. I'm exhausted. I pushed the things that I didn't get to do today to tomorrow. Some things are positively things I have to do, such as grocery shopping, but some things I can wait.

Tomorrow I have to go to a Girl Scout event, so I'm not sure how I would be able to do all of things that I have to do tomorrow. But, tomorrow is another day, so maybe I'll be able to do most of it.
