New Additions to the Family

Sunday, I bought some more fish. I bought two more goldfish. These are brand new little bitty fish. They are so tiny compared to Goldie! That brings our total of fish to 4: 3 goldfish and 1 algae eater.

I was kind of hesitant on buying more fish, seeing our current mortality rate, but Corinne wanted some more. When I got them home, I floated the bag in the tank for 20 minutes (like I'm supposed to), then I released them. At first, they stuck together, and Goldie was close behind. But then one of them starting zipping around the tank, and Goldie hung back and watched. The other one went underneath the filter and hung out with Stripers.

I wasn't sure if the one that hung out with Stripers was going to make it, but so far it's survived and is now moving around more in the tank.

I know that Corinne is calling the zipping fish "Nascar", but I forgot what she named the other.

Let's see if they survive a week. I'll be happy if they do!
