Well, we are still waiting for the painters to come back and finish the job. The trim still needs to be done, and the doors still need to be painted. And I still haven't been able to put up my Christmas decorations on my patio. I guess I'm going to be standing outside holding them for the contest.
Lucy the goose is dressed in a Santa outfit. I noticed it the other day when I was at work. We had a dilemna the other day. Our tree that sits in the hallway outside our office was turned off. We couldn't figure it out. It was plugged and working, and then someone came by and asked why the tree was off. Gayle and I went outside to see what was going on, and everything looked O.K. but it wasn't on. A little later, someone told us that the tree was back on. Strange... Do we have a Scrooge among us???
My Christmas tree at home is now fully decorated. However, the other day, Corinne was trying to get behind the tree, and the whole tree came tumbling down. I had some breakable ornaments on that tree, and one particular glass angel ornament broke in a million pieces. I was heart-broken. Some of the ornaments that I thought would break didn't even come off of the tree. And there was a particular snowman ornament that Corinne jokenly threw on the tree (really, she literally "threw" it on the tree!) and it stayed that way, hanging by it's foot. Neither one of us moved to save it, so it remained hanging upside down. When the tree fell, and righted up it back up, the snowman remained in it's spot, upside down. Amazing.
